100% true. Some websites are more than 100 MB to fully load. That’s absolutely insane to me. Tons of JS to process on the client side and very often some Java / .net code on the server side. (I’m not mentioning PHP/Python/Per

Also a DevOps guy, I like Terraform from the “user” experience. It’s much more comfortable eco system to be in than AWS CF. Managing your resources is also better experience. That is until you hit an issue with resource or situation not bei

I wonder how objective/subjective were the criteria for going to the hospital. I don’t meant to make fun of it but is there a chance that fewer patients either didn’t panic or simply didn’t care enough?

I mean, let’s be real, what could it actually power? I can think of a few applications but it certainly won’t be much. - dhcp / dns / radius for the office - maybe internet router, if they don’t have a too fast connection (>500

It doesn’t really. Don’t confuse docker with a virtualization layer. Well made containers bring just the processes you’d be running anyway. I run a few containers on my RPi and cannot tell a difference in performance.

Yup, similar experience. Our devs kept using S3 as a caching backend for some small pictures. Only based on billing, we learned that we had over 17TB in tiny files, unable to groom it in any way that was feasible. Kept hitting all sorts of

Seriously, I’d genuinely like to understand this more. As the previous comment said, all I see around me are people buying new cars (for MSRP+) and overpriced homes. My home value went up 32%. And yet the market is “ extremely hot”. And no,

Cute little tool. Obviously this is not meant to compete with the heavy weight competitors like nagios , nms or zabbix… so it’s ok that this won’t scale. One thing that takes away from general usability is the platform itself. Each time I s
