This is a very short advice, that I very much believe in. Reward hard work, not achievements. Working 40 hours and getting a semi-bad grade in biology is much more important than studying 4 hours and getting 100% in math. Now this is me bei

Thank you, I had no clue what to get out of the story. English is my second language and sometimes it feels like a lot of people go out of their way to make their texts long and convoluted because it's cool. Same in my native language

Yes and no. You shouldn't punish someone because they have done something bad, you should rehabilitate them. But you should do something. Doing nothing might be worse than doing the worst of the previously mentioned options.
