If I want to make an application composed of C, C#, and Visual Basic, there nothing stopping me in Windows. You try to pull that shit in Unix though, and you get a whole mess of problems. This is why Unix is clearly just so inferior. /

Visual 6502 is a godsend for emulation. For a brief time I dabbled in emulating the 6502 and every question that couldn’t be answered by the manual was answered by this. Couldn’t live without it <3

When people say Docker is lightweight and they’re running it on a Mac, they’re probably talking about their production environment and it’s rude to say that they don’t quite understand.

Hey mine was non retina too! It really was a fantastic piece of hardware, and probably the only Mac I’ll ever live. The dual SSDs(I replaced the cd drive too) gave it a few more years for me. I’m pretty happy with the replacement I got thou

My 2012 MacBook Pro is in great condition and probably would’ve stayed that way for awhile, but sluggishness was just becoming too common. Especially when I’m off mains, running an IDE, a browser, and occasionally compiling

I agree, the Santa doesn’t belong in VSCode, or any other tool, but not for the reasons outlined in this issue. I don’t want my editor changing its UI every year for the holidays

I think it should be an opt-in not an opt-out. The better way to distribute some holiday cheer would be to release an official VSCode Christmas theme. That way my editor it’s changing its appearance for no reason every year
