Once asahi is stable, I would seriously consider buying a MacBook to use as my daily driver

What is stopping that from happening now? Most small creators don't have the money to defend their copyright

You are 100% productive for 8 hours a day?

Can you find one employee that truly works 8 hours a day?

Unfortunately, you’d be surprised. I know of at least one

Adding on more praise. I think of it like paper enhanced. I loved takes notes on paper, but I needed to be able to rearrange my thoughts quickly without erasing and rewriting. Remarkable does that really well, and that's all I need it

Sure, but you can't resign and not have it be a public thing. They said as little as they could

Why did that happen?

Tried searching for a problem I had earlier today. Got only one web result, a “quick fact”, a YouTube video, and the final result just asked me to sign into GitHub. Definitely not coming back, seems pretty useless

But they aren't issued or backed by the federal government. There isn't a national database for it, each state still has it's own system

by 2fast4you 5y ago
> REAL ID is a federal law, not an actual piece of ID. Congress passed the REAL ID Act in 2005. The act established minimum security standards for state-issued driver licenses and ID cards. https://www.dol.wa.gov/about&#x

Oh I think we’ve started the extend phase. Did you notice they put out their own GitHub specific git cli? And they removed ssh links and replaced them with links specific to their cli

It’s still the same AOP coprocessor

It goes a little farther than just mimicking paper. Being able to rearranged my notes notes just by dragging and dropping was the killer feature for me.

That fact that it isn’t a general purpose device is a huge plus for me honestly. I don’t need it to be much more than digitally enhanced paper

I thought it was funny

They aren’t scanning images stored on the device. Only images stored in iCloud, right? In this case I think “our platform” and “our systems” are accurate descriptions

Very cool! Did you look at tools like OpenSCAD before choosing Blender?

Wow, did not know EMR voice assistant was a thing. Can’t wait till our team works on something like this

You could replace that with a tool like direnv. It’ll automatically load your variables for a project when you enter it’s directory. https://direnv.net/

It seems to be a platform for other plugins/themes to target
