Thanks for letting me know. There's definitely no malicious content on the site. I've had false positives in the past with a different service. I'll look into it and try to figure out what's going on.

Ha. It's actually not FOSS, so Github wouldn't be a good fit for me right now.

On the phone with my host right now to try to fix the slowness of the site. I honestly wasn't expecting to hit the front page again.

I'm a solo developer and I built the first version of this app a couple of years ago. This is the third major rewrite and I've added a ton of functionality since then (i.e. recurring invoicing, kanban, reply by email, more flexibl

Since when is a 'middle-schooler vocabulary' a bad thing? I distinctly remember learning on hn (when the Hemingway app became popular) that simple is better for readability. https://contently.com/strategist/2

What are some good alternatives? I've been using DataGrip the last couple of months, but prior to that I used phpMyAdmin all the time because I just couldn't find anything else as useful for MySQL. And even with DataGrip, I someti

A bank would be useful for general learning. i.e. when I went to the site just now, I didn't have a specific emoji that I needed to identify, but if there had been a 'bank of emojis' I probably would have wasted a few minutes

It appears the error is only shown when I have my ad blocker enabled. I use uBlock origin. Hope that helps :)

I get it as well. The error is "(index):53 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'get' of undefined". Here's what's on line 53 - linkerParam = trackers[0].get('linkerParam');

It looks nice, but I wish the landing page was a bit more descriptive about how it helps me switch between projects. The screenshot is pretty, but not really that clear without the context of how ?

Perhaps I'm an idiot, but it wasn't immediately clear to me that the examples were actually examples. They looked like images. I only discovered that they were interactive after I got frustrated that I couldn't find the '

Have you checked out Duet? https://duetapp.com It's not specifically for software like Clubhouse though.

You can try Duet - http://duetapp.com . It's self hosted and has a super simple setup process. I'm the developer.

Beautiful app. I'm not sure music should start playing immediately. I'll press play when I'm ready... Where are you getting the data from?

The app is distributed as a single zip, but the installer requires a license key. Updates are distributed through the duetapp website, which also requires a license key before the update is delivered.

I built a similar project management app ( http://duetapp.com ) and people love the fact that it's self hosted. This segment of the market is definitely smaller than the segment that prefers SaaS, but it's bigger than yo

Looks great, but you should definitely describe the purpose of the service on the front page. I had to dig around in the footer to find the 'about' page for details....

Looks good, but it seems like there should be some example sites so we can see what the service is capable of. I would have liked to try out the editor too...

As everyone else has already said, the design needs some work - the landing page, the sign up process, and the actual app. You should definitely check out some of the landing page templates and app templates at themeforest.net. At a minimum

It's possible, but not much of a discount given the already low price point. Shoot me an email with the idea and we can discuss.

This post has been penalized and I'm not sure why. It was at number 3 of the front page and then it fell to 40. How can I contact a moderator?

I've seen deals like this posted on HN a couple of times. The major difference between those offerings and my own is the fact that I'm willing (and capable) of doing the design portion of the project as well. Let me know if you ha
