Redshift isn't mentioned anywhere in the article except in the citation of the original paper https://www.nature.com/articles/s41550-023-02029-2 but redshift here would be the key to making this determination.. I

What do you mean by "the wave function of reality"? Wave function is just a handy way to describe quantum states that can't be discretely represented otherwise in mathematical equations.

I haven't had the time to watch this video but I may check it out later. I would argue that most games when played at the extreme level are not being played the way they were meant to be played. In a sort of "surivorship bias&qu

Servers barely care what HTTP status code their users are served with. 500 / 503 seems to fit any and every error these days, or the classic 200 OK for a page not found.

I think the problem you're talking about is solved by super-seeding. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super-seeding I believe libtorrent supports it, among others.

I can't think of any successful stable coins that offer yield on their own. DAI in a round-about way, I guess? Seems like it would be relatively trivial to dump pyUSD into a Curve pool which would generate yield for pyUSD HODLers (amon

I agree that joke is perhaps the wrong word, but I saw it as the topic of a few memes relating to ancestry. DNA is also only part of the story when it comes to ancenstry, I'd argue it's probably the least important part unless you

The beauty of torrents is that as soon as someone else starts to download, provided they're a good swarm member, the overall seeder capacity increases. You don't need to have 100% of the data to start seeding, you only need a sing

Could you parallelise your parallel processors? ie. offload this work to a separate, (perhaps not even as beefy) GPU. Akin to streamers having one GPU that they use for gaming and a second GPU used for encoding their stream.

Not quite.. You still have to assume that there is more profanity per comment than per (uncommented) LOC. A piece of code with a lot of swear words for variable names but no comments at all would be an extreme example.
