Agree. reStructuredText has much stronger concepts. Composable. A standard way to extend semantics without requiring new syntax. Not tied to HTML. It has some slightly more superficial weaknesses that made it the loser I guess: ugly /

The custom UI is also IMO terrible. It's completely different than the browser Ctrl-F UI. It does not simply highlight and move to the matches. Instead it shows a "preview", so you have to navigate to each match separately an
