I know, which is why I can't get into Twitter no matter how often I try. It is designed in a way where you either ignore a person or you get their entire unfiltered stream of consciousness. No wonder we live in a culture of outrage, wh

It's certainly not marketed as a Webpack config, and my issues with it are with its React and Javascript API and design philosophy.

They had it. The fact it doesn't work anymore is probably because some big brains at Google strongly believe that their AI knows better. Such hubris is the reason why Google sucks today and it absolutely rocked 20 years ago.

I do not mean personal, I mean cultural, especially in the West. Nipples are more taboo than gore, sex work is not accepted openly as any other profession, you'd probably be a little weirded out if I had a miniature of Priapus with his

It's been since the fall of the Roman Empire that we've been waiting for sexual freedom and appreciation of the body in its entirety, genitalia included, to be acceptable again. Two thousand years have passed, any day now...

That's just asking for this to happen again. What stops the forum administrator from selling kicad.info or adding their own affiliate code to links?

The beloved and overhyped Next.js which I dislike with a passion is of the second type. It goes as deep as the simple examples from its documentation, and no deeper than that.

I agree 100% with you. I built my career on top of Python, and 2.7 is the last version I've used. I don't like that Python 3 is adding any feature under the sun for whatever reason. Have you seen their sad excuse of pattern match

Docker has been the saving grace for Python. I once used to build deb and rpms of a Python project of mine and I'd rather stick a finger in my eye than go through that pain again.

Of all the spammy sites, w3schools is the least of my problems. I still find a use out of it when I need some very superficial information about, say, an HTML tag.

I don't think the first two companies you've mentioned care about making search better, as they're both getting a fat check from Google.

I knew someone would try, which is why I specified this was just an example, I'm sure this time with that made up word it works, but when it doesn't it's pretty obvious and infuriating. And autocorrect is a net loss if you ca

I hate how smart it tries to be. Sometimes you need to search an intentional misspelling, say, "Aple" (just an example), Google will helpfully try to correct you with "did you mean Apple?", and even if you put the word i

Great! I've recently mentioned that Brave Search is the only alternative search I've stuck to since day 1. Works much better for me than DDG or any other search has ever did. Not perfect, rarely returns DE results instead of Engli

I routinely find my iPhone and iPad are one major version behind. Yep, just checked, I'm still on iOS 14. I don't even care about all the new features.

Do you think black people striving for equality are looking for companies putting black people on their ads? They want equality, not their struggle to be washed away by bullshit empty posturing. "Want to end racism? Stop talking about

All big companies are adopting this kind of behaviour: show we're inclusive by having as few white heterosexual men as possible. We're still decades away from racial and sexual integration and equality.

Please don't write a compiler, that has nothing to do with JavaScript, in JavaScript. It needs correctness, safety and speed, none of which are JS (nor TS) strengths. You can, but that's a prerogative of all Turing-complete langua
