I don't think your age is an issue, but moving to SG could be as it will be harder to get a job in a position you don't have a lot of experience in. :/ I think it'd be better to gain some experience in your home country

I found the switch back to a single monitor to be pretty painless once I became used to using shortcuts like CMD + ` for switching windows. Two is definitely better, but for me it wasn't worth the hassle.

In Google Chrome you can go to Developer Tools -> Network, and change No throttling to something you like.
