Very smooth in Windows XP with Chrome 14. If you don't see the option to enable it, make sure that you have English set as your language, or append hl=en to the URL. The best about this is that they aren't using images anymore in the map vi

Hm. I get changing background colors when scrolling, maybe because the cache color hint is set to white? You should disable it if you use a non uniform background.

Sometimes, OLED screens are even worse than your average LCD. For example, the Galaxy S has beautiful colors and the bright of a thousand suns, but it's awful for simple white-on-black text. The glyphs are very irregular and have jaggies. I

I have seen this happening a lot with Chrome, Windows XP and latest Nvidia drivers. And not only with WebGL, but with every kind of GPU-accelerated web content.
