I have over a thousand and hundreds of warning about compromised passwords. Annoyingly they're all for forums I was part of as a teenager 15-20 years ago with a dead email address referencing pink monkeys. I just never get round to cle

Its not just children. If you travel by yourself you often make friends who 7 days later are your "best friends", just like children. We just need a way to foster those situations in real life. The biggest issue I find with things

My Pixel C is running great. I basically just use it as a netflix machine for camping/road trips/hostels. If I download offline on WiFi and then stick on airplane mode I can watch 10-12 hours on one charge even after all these yea

Same position. There's so many things I want to learn I'm not sure postgres is such a step up from MySQL that it's worth being at the top of the list.

I don't think you're taking everything into consideration here. For one it's not only creators who make money. You also have to pay for hosting/development as well as Google's own profit. So the cost to buy ads is c

I'm mostly interested if this is a tiny hobby project by someone who wanted a nice example to use in arguments. Or an advert by someone involved with Laravel/Laracasts. As the former it's quite effective. The latter would be

Depends if you're counting all the WordPress level projects. Then it'd be 0.01% Vs 99.99% I'd imagine. But that just puts into perspective how silly this argument is because I have no idea what a project means to other people

What's most awkward about this for me is the framing. Surely you have to ask if people are free or if they want to come to a beach house BEFORE you book. But maybe the point is you'd use it anyway if they didn't want to come?

I don't understand why people are in such uproar over netflix pricing. $10 a month is an incredible price for what you get. There's not alot you can do for $10 these days. You can barely grab lunch in lots of places. And you'

Tennis is definitely not more popular. It's odd that you seem to think popularity = it would be easier. Soccer's popularity is what causes this issue because there is so much money to be made by splitting it up and selling to mult

I've long dreamed of tracking every little thing. I don't know why but tracking everything I do, what I eat or drink or wear, how many hours I watch TV or sit on Reddit, how often I urinate, my work life balance, literally everyth

I find conferences help my imposter syndrome immensely. I remember being at a conference and thinking it was all so incredibly basic, then looking around and seeing people scribble notes and feeling a huge sense of relief.

It looks like it never worked and the docs were wrong or out of date. How few people were using duckduckgo with these filters for it not to be noticed until now? Stranger still that the author noticed the change to the docs but not that it

This is incredibly vague "We will be focused on removing old, unused, and inactive content that is not tied to a user account" What is old, unused and inactive? That could be 10 year old images or 10 month old images. I have no id

Not getting a warning scares me. I moved hosting large GB+ files from DO Spaces to R2 for the free egress and have served 1 petabyte in January alone saving thousands of dollars.
