I've paid up to $50 for a single T and been disappointed. Price is no guarantee of quality. Sweat wicking etc is fine for workout shirts but not for daily wear, they must be 100% cotton.

Wasn't the whole point of Roe V Wade that it shouldn't have ever been a federal issue and that it should be up to the states all along? Wouldn't deciding these things on a local level be more representative to the than a fede

Agreed. All these articles are one sided. My backyard lawn is a soft play space that is self repairing, zero carbon (it's not watered or fertilized barring home made compost) and mowed with solar power. We picnic on it and play on it.

AI generated T-Shirt images? Forget all of that. I can't even find a simple plain cotton tee that is well made and reasonably priced.

To get good capacity out of that kind of storage you need to heat it HOT - like 400+c and heat pumps can’t really do more than 90c or so.

Please don’t encourage stifling of discussion by invoking privilege. This person gave an opinion that contributes to the discourse. Self censorship is a slippery slope, especially in this context.

Fourth, one of the big reasons I love coffee is spending 15 minutes getting some fresh air, in a different place (not the office) chatting to my colleagues.

100% agree. The developed world might be deleted but there will be plenty of tribes in Africa/SE Asia etc who will pretty much continue unaffected. Except those bothersome missionaries will stop coming around. The human race will conti

Never thought about it but you’re spot on. A big roasted field mushroom with a dash of balsamic and perhaps some feta cheese is 1000% tastier than a weird processed vegetable patty.

I think the “quality” actually goes down as you get newer. They are better sealed and insulated yes but…not quality - especially project homes. I own an old house (1890s) and the craftsmanship of the original portion of the house is spectac

My house in Australia is all single glazed. But where I live summers aren’t that hot (rarely over 30c) and winters aren’t cold (rarely less than 10c overnight). I’ve considered double glazing but it makes no sense really

Fun fact, you can do this in Australia and see/pay the instantaneous cost of energy. At noon it often goes negative. So you can get paid to consume! Edit - link to the dashboard https://aemo.com.au/energy-systems/e

Why do Americans always have to boil everything down to race, or being racist? Social problems transcend the colour of your skin.

I think you’re jumping to take offence. This ain’t anti trans. Kids pretend to be lions and cats and trucks and stuff all the time. There’s a time for fun and sometimes that fun is over.

Perhaps, but jobs are what you make of them. I know a guy that does floor polishing and epoxy floors. Not a very creative job but plenty of work. Him and his crew spend a lot of time together. They have deep discussions about philosophy, ar

I believe thats cherry picked data. More specifically apple says it’s comparable to the 3090x at a given power budget of 100 watts. They don’t mention that the 3090 goes up to 360 watts.

I’ve always been curious of the whole “wind turbines disturb wildlife” thing. Surely climate change will disturb them much, much more? Also I’m not sure depopulation is exactly a “zero compromise” solution.
