Has this ever actually happened? Particularly, has a software publisher ever lost such a case?

Did Royal Caribbean ever get the robotic bartenders to actually work? When I got to see one in action several years ago it spent far more time either outright down or in a half broken state where it messed up orders than it did actually wor

This seems like the mother of all selection biases to me. Of course you remember the Apple ][ because it was one of the first products in what became a wildly successful market. How many flying car prototypes do you remember? There have bee

I don't know about other insurers, but USAA's renter's insurance covers earthquakes. Also, I just got a quote from Lemonade and they have an option to add earthquake coverage via a third party. I think the difference is that

Not GP, but I'd never heard of them either. About the only place I ever see ads anymore is the embedded overlay ads on hockey games (back when sports were a thing). I've managed to block pretty much every other form of ad online

I just checked, and for my apartment they come in at about half of my current renter's insurance for similar coverage. Maybe it's highly dependent on location, or maybe I'm just way overpaying for renter's insurance. Unf

Why? What do you hope to achieve other than to possibly inflame the situation? I can't possibly believe that you think the cop is going to think "gee, that's a good point citizen, please carry on".

Just like everything else, it's a two way conversation. The discounts have to happen with the tenant's knowledge and agreement. If you don't like it don't rent from a landlord who plays those games. If every landlord is
