Quoting the US constitution in a thread about the UK doesn't make much sense. Is there a similar legal doctrine in the UK?

One unit of work independent of time taken. When you say "no drop in productivity", do you mean you do the same amount of work in 4 days now instead of 5, or that you do 80% of the work you used to do?

How can you tell the difference? It seems like you're making a judgement based on just the product pictures, what specific things make it looks like ABS to you? What would a polycarbonate or nylon plastic look like?

Funny. As someone who is borderline ADHD, I've always attributed my inability to play MMOs to the ADHD. I can be pretty focused for a few days, but over the long term I get bored and have to move on to something else. When I was younge

Is Firefox not supported? Tried submitting a paper and it says "File is not a PDF, too large, or corrupt" in Firefox. Seems to work fine in Chrome. In any case, the paper I submitted is one I coauthored, so I like to think I'

What exactly are you including in the cost of your kitchen? A cheap stove and refrigerator are about $500 each. Cabinets for the small but fully functional kitchen in my small bay area apartment could be had for as little as $1000 based on

Unless the lease had other terms written in, California generally allows landlords to continue to charge rent until the unit is rented again (or the end of the lease term).

I worked as a line cook in college. The place I worked was in a HCOL city, but nowhere close to SF. Our general rule was that items should sell for about 4x the cost of ingredients to cover all overhead. I'm a salaried employ with no e

The US government is very big on requiring ABET accredited degrees for engineering. I've never gotten a straight answer on whether this is the case for CS or not.

The school may be accredited but not the degree. This is the case for CS degrees from several UC schools including Berkley. My CS degree from a slightly less prestigious UC is not accredited but no one has ever said anything about it.

I think it is relevant though. Most of the mid-level schools I looked at were ABET accredited. Going unaccredited in CS seems to be a thing that you can only get away with if you have so much or so little name recognition that it doesn'
