Of course it means exactly that. If you opt in to a feature that shares your data with other users, you're explicitly opting in to the risk that those users will steal/leak/share your data with a third party, either intention

I agree, and I'm a researcher in the field. "Autonomy" implies decision making in the absence of external control/input. To me, that's very nearly the opposite of the quote.

The gulf between truish, biased testimony and perjury is immense. The entire reason to have an expert witness giving testimony is that no one else in the courtroom is fully qualified to determine the truthfulness of the testimony.

Wow. I had looked at the Oura Ring before and thought it looked cool, but I missed that it basically requires a subscription, which is wild considering it seems like I get all of the same metrics from my Garmin watch with no subscription re

Ha. We clearly stay in different hotels and live in different kinds of apartments. I find most hotels I've ever been in to be quieter and often nearly as spacious as any apartment I've ever lived in.

This is an argument to re-write the DMCA to prevent frivolous claims, and thus reduce the total number of claims. It's not an argument to throw up our hands and pretend that it's unreasonable to expect human involvement.

Coverage is even thinner than I would have guessed. California has 6 Rivian service centers, but they're strongly clustered in the Bay area and LA/OC/SAN. Even in California if you live in Fresno/Bakersfield/Santa B

I expect your idea of "reasonable speed" does not align well with the actual average speed of travelers along the route. The only time I see this ETA creeping behavior is when I'm on long a long trip, not in a hurry, and I in

I think the idea is that while the committee size might grow, it shouldn't/doesn't need to grown in proportion to the size of the overall congressional size, leading to fewer committee assignments per rep.

When making comments like this, it would be enormously helpful to quote the title as you saw it. The current title seems to match the source and I can't tell if it's already edited or if I'm missing something.
