Did you even RTFA and look at hCAPTCHA? hCAPTCHA couldn't be more grossly focused on neural-net training. Hell, one challenge asks you to draw a bounding box and another is a classification tagging.

There are still companies in Europe I work with that use IE11. Since we switched from jQuery to Vue last year, we put a friendly reminder on each page saying IE11 is not supported (since its ES6 support sucks), but the tickets still came in

That didn't explain the energy difference. The on-time power is identical in both cases. PWM has more capacitive-switching energy cost (in wires and it gate cap), and crowbar current. But I'm curious how much of the total energy i

I moved to a smaller town and there's only local one box which is populated with the town's supply of douchebags. It's hit or miss: sometimes a crossfit gym is a fun bunch of people, other times it's a bunch of head-butt

As a former crossfitter: we did this, but we replaced the club with really expensive boutique sledgehammers in neon colors with mean-sounding names. Like the Rogue "Warhammer": https://www.roguefitness.com/sisu-war

In this thread the top two comments couldn't be more opposite: PRO: "I've become a huge fan of M4 ... M4 was easy to use, and unless you do something crazy, fairly easy to read. " CON: "M4 is so impotent and crippli

It's 1985 all over again: I'm in my bedroom running a ProDOS wardialer on my 300/1200 baud AppleModem; I have found zero computers, but it is fun watching the numbers flick past, hoping that I, too, can discover a WOPR and st

This is a great post: it stitches together the benefits of NVC, what turns people off about it, and lastly, what it looks like in the techworld. Right on!

NVC can be extremely powerful, but it only works if both parties are amenable to it. Source: therapy. While workers have an incentive to respond to NVC, some people simply do not internalize in a way that is necessary for it to work. This i

OmniGraffle is the best substitute for Visio that I've found in 25 years, that is affordable (US$100). They are also extremely responsive to bug sightings.

If you consider arrow keys as 2D, and the Vim's edit/control mode as a 3rd dimension, EMACS is already up to... 12 dimensions? Good enough! Ship it! :)

After 15 years of cell phone spam, anything that shows up as a number on my personal phone, and not a contact, is reflexively ignored. I don't think I'll ever shake this habit: if it is important, they will leave a message.
