We didn't plan it this way, but we felt we had to launch before the end of the month :) My co-founder Enzo (the CEO) came up with the name because when starting out the feeling we had was that most analytics products felt cold and inti

Interesting to see that there’s both Google Cloud and Stability AI mentioned in providing the compute. Did Stability pay the bill for the resources used for training?

I'm OP here. Hope this post doesn't come across as self-promotion as I've genuinely shared everything I wish I knew as an engineer before starting a company. After sharing this post on Twitter[1] I got great feedback from fel

Crazy to see how fast all of this is evolving. Honestly the downside of explosive growth is that all of a sudden you need to ramp up resources to deal with these sort of legal T&C issues. It makes sense that now that they're huge t

What’s the advantage of open source usage based pricing? Does this product solve the charging part of the problem or the customer portal admin part of billing?

I've been playing around with SwiftUI recently and the developer experience and tooling make me miss my VSCode set up with copilot With this it looks like I could keep the same developer experience and build something quickly!

Yes! I think people call this k-shot prompting - where the k is the examples you give to the model! Apps like Jasper.ai do things like: ``` Give me a list of 10 funny intros to a newsletter: 1. funny intro 1 2. funny intro 2 3. funny intro

Yes you can customize the prompts and google queries you run like [1] and potentially answer whatever question you can answer by searching Google! [1] https://github.com/ferrucc-io/gpt-google/blob/57dfd0dc20d6

The point of this is that as a B2B startup you spend a lot of time Googling information about your sign ups. The enrichment is not done by GPT-3 per se, we use Google and feed the relevant information from Crunchbase, Linkedin etc.. to GPT3

I think something around structuring business logic in easily testable mutations and having good ways of creating factories without too much boilerplate code are the main things on my mind!

This looks slick! Have you thought about helping people structure in a more opinionated way how business logic gets run? It feels like the JS ecosystem is missing framework that helped define layers of an app much like Rails/Django

Decided to share Natbot here as I saw no discussions ever happened on HN about it! I spent the morning hacking with it to stop browsing when it finds an answer and managed to get a little Slack bot that qualifies our new sign-ups out of it!

OP here. That’s what they do, we’re a team of 4 engineers and we all work on the product end to end. We have a full time product designer though as doing user interviews is time consuming and hard to do with the routine of an engineer.
