You're mixing programming languages with software architecture.

I think the same. To me it looks like a Vercel marketing employee wrote that.

This is why I'm a big advocate of Inertia.js [1]. For me it's the right balance of using "serious" batteries included traditional MVC backends like Laravel, Rails, Adonis, Django, etc... and modern component based front

Haters are downvoting you probably because of mentioning anything PHP related. But what you say is true. Blade is amazing.

Glad to hear that works for you. But nothing of what you are mentioning is part of Django, nor an official package, etc. And I’m not going to get into the details of whether that stack would work for non backend developers, developers workin

That’s true as long as you are only talking about the backend. Frontend wise, Django is in the Stone Age. Look at Laravel or rails if you want a really complete full stack solution.

What terrifies me about Remix 3 is Remix 4. That is… I wouldn’t even think about using it because it’s very likely they will change their mind next year and come up with something totally different. Again.

The reason is simple. These guys are really, really obsessed with download counts. They brag a lot about that in twitter every time they have a chance. What they want to reuse is the package name. So now they launch whatever bullshit they a

As somebody using Svelte for a real production application, I can only 100% agree with their recommendations regarding Svelte because of the overall dev experience is unmatched. It just feels right. Easy. Simple. And I'm not even consi

Anyone can write svelte. Or solid. Or Angular. I don’t even want to talk to somebody that defines themselves as a “React” developer. Let alone work with them. If you know any of these frameworks, and the basics of web development you can wo

Yes. It's also recommended to not use much of it and do almost everything else with turbo drive, or turbo frames, or with turbo streams, or with whichever convoluted magic you can do to avoid it until you can't anymore. Then you u

That's the only good reason to use Hotwire. Being a JS hater.

This. We replaced Hotwire frontend with Inertia and it's night and day. Unless you work 100% alone (and for a smallish project) hotwire leads to a real mess nobody can work on way before anything else I've ever seen in my life.

For all of you struggling with these modern frameworks (Next, Nuxt, Remix, TS start, etc, etc, etc)... Don't waste your time. They're all almost the same (crap), but the real issue is the instability of all of them. They change ev

+1 for this stack. Adonis + Inertia works wonderfully well. It's the best of both worlds. And the simplicity of this architecture is something to admire. It's very easy to know what's going on at every point: It's just r

You must be building extremely simple/minimal frontends with near to zero interactivity requirements. Otherwise "no javascript" and "no livewire" just doesn't work.

Yes, you’re missing a lot of things. Like how to update that data when you are offline and have everything sync around when others have made updates to the same data in the meanwhile. Among many other concerns and use cases.
