To get the glorification you need to consider that those men and women are willingly exposing themselves to mortal danger. This kind of thing is hard to understand for someone who has spent all their life in an all white upper middle class

Stop fighting bullshit wars halfway around the world and you’ll have plenty of capable volunteers. No one wants to get their extremities blown off just because some military industrial complex CEO needs another beach house.

Yup. My son is vaccinated with it. That said, I view it as non-mandatory, much like the flu shot. The overall risk of HPV complications is pretty darn low in men.

That’s not what the founders will tell you. Even for employee #1 in 999 cases out of a 1000 it’s not really worth it, if the goal is to get ahead financially.

That’s what people don’t get. It’s only really a decent outcome for the investors and the founders, and then only until you consider how long it took to get there. Front line grunt gets bupkis, and now has to find another job, because fuck

The disappointing part of the US medical system is it doesn’t do much for you unless you’re really seriously ill or about to die. If you’re about to die, it’s the best in the world. If you just eg have a shoulder pain or something — you wil

Just push Trump to do what he promised to do during his campaign: allow the importation of drugs. The rest of the world is mostly paying more reasonable prices, it’s only us, USians who are getting reamed by the pharma cartel.

Carbon credits don’t really do anything for the environment. Giving up a car, picking a smaller house, not traveling, and not having kids would be meaningful steps, but that’s not really an option even for people who make their livelihood f

That’s because you don’t get promoted there unless you do something new and super complicated. That’s also part of the reason why Android SDK is such a pile of garbage, the other part being they rush half baked shit to market all the time.
