My guess is because OP, like the rest of us Americans, are taught to avoid thinking too deeply about how "freedom" and "property" tend to collide in very uncomfortable ways, but pine for both.

Like you, I have noticed this type of material to be always Linux focused as well and wondered why. I'd love to see something like an Over The Wire security challenge game that is based on Windows or manOS if anyone knows of them.

Do you know of a resource that explains character encoding in greater detail? Just for my own curiosity. I am learning web development and boy, they brow beat UTF-8 upon us which okay, I'll make sure that call is in my meta data, but n

Scratch that, I missed a paragraph in OP's post about the assassin. Definitely not SpaceTeam and more likely Among Us. Give SpaceTeam a try anyway. You have to love a game that bills itself as a "cooperative shouting game."

I work in the industry that builds and integrates most of that stuff. We don't use that term. It's marketing woo which is why the other commenter has probably never heard it.

Might as well bring back play-by-post Dungeons & Dragons while we're at it. I know it's still going in a more modern capacity on myth-weavers.com and other sites, but I miss the mail version, chore that it was.

This is a silly comparison. The table saw was not designed to be addictive, turn its users into a highly lucrative commodity, or push algorithmically driven agendas. Social media was. The dangers being compared here are very different.

Not really but sorta? I don't know that I'd call it contradiction so much as working with limited information. When we are alive, we want to be acknowledged, at the very least. We might think about making arrangements for our stuf

Sagan's old quote about making an apple pie applies, here, I think. Building on your sentiment, I have always felt that schools (in the US, at least) tend to teach students what to think rather than how to think. There is a huge em

Arduinos are for prototyping, which makes the application fairly massive. The company I work for used them to develop one of our machines before we moved to a custom board. So, I'd say they are pretty useful.

This is all I ask. I've never had an interest in weed, but I also don't think it should be illegal. After it was legalized in my state, I started second guessing my stance out of spite. I quickly got tired of not being able to do
