The nearby city of Bloomington, home of Indiana University, also hosts Granfalloon each year. I believe it's in July? I just happened to be in town for work and caught it.

I'm with you, although my personal acronym is SUFR; Start Up, Fail, Recover. I don't know about anyone else, but I have learned far more from my mistakes than I have from my successes.

What about the "hey, marriage is just not for everybody" position? I did not get married until my very late 30's, having spend enough time with my partner to have built something worth keeping, but at least two of my friends

I honestly don't know. I also advertised on a few less regulated forums, but no bites. Not in NYC, but if it makes a difference, I am in the US and shipping is always an option. If we can establish contact outside of HN, I'm willi

This is the correct answer. I have my license and help with Skywarn when I can in my area, also play around with meshtastic. The fact is that meshtastic is pretty cool, but the ham radio community has been around for a century, is far bette

Side note that I learned the hard way; once you buy a Flipper Zero and get bored with it, they are very, very hard to sell. Both eBay and Facebook Marketplace seem to not allow them to be sold, and simply asking around doesn't do much.

I am not sure what gap you mean, since troubleshooting is part of the learning process. If someone expects to always get it right the first time, they are a bad student. Problem solving is relevant to all learning.

Make a small rechargable hair drier for camping/use where outlets are in short supply, and you've got yourself a saleable product, even it it only gives about 5 min of hot air.

I think you are ignoring a massive driving factor in both medicine and psychology; they are businesses. Both fields, scientific as they often try to be, are subject to the sway of funding and profits more-so than other sciences like physics

Do you have any sources showing how Google spends its profits? Honest question, you got me curious. From my likely ignorant perspective, the devs I know build open-source products with a barely perceptible fraction of the money Google make

Spoken like someone who does not have to make a choice between groceries or gassing up the car. Credit cards are predatory toward low-income individuals on purpose. When my vehicle needed $3000USD in repairs a few years ago, I did not have
