I mean go is nice cause it uses a lot less memory than Ruby/Python/Node and in many cases faster. I use it for side projects on things I'd like/want and I wish sometimes I didn't need to reach for Django just to get

Typically assets involve more than just image and css files esp for any project you're building a full server for (i.e. not done with a static site generator), so yes that makes things more complicated, but their job is to remove the b

NodeJS is not a horrible dependency and it's not required when creating a new project. It's not like everyone doesn't already have Node or NVM installed for some other project. How else is the framework going to handle/b

Honestly, if I could just make links easily between notes I'd be pretty set with Notes.app except for the fact that code is kind of hard to write in it. i.e. snippets, etc. I tried using it because you're right, it's one of t

Yes, I have it, but most of what I do isn't so much writing, which I believe it's a great tool for. Most of the writing tools out there are mainly for writers and not more researchers like me (learning stuff about development and

I think I'm going to sell my existing 9.7" to get the new 10.5" to get a bit more space to work with on this new version of iOS. I can't wait until I can really use iOS the way I use my mac. Which at this point really is

This framework has been around forever and not really. Most people use the standard library unless they need better routing than the standard library provides. There are actually very few web frameworks that provide much other than a rout

And they did fix that for the JS applications (WinJS and the like) by using and implementing their own idea, the "grid", which no one else supports to this day, but in a lot of ways is based on the ideas of UI design from XAML

I never used Notational Velocity, but this seems like an awesome UI to use for Notes. As long as you have powerful search you can always find your notes by their content and create new ones when the ones you find aren't relevant. How m

Exactly, MS did it right this time: Released a fix. How many times has MS never released a fix and a researcher been forced to publish 90 days after submitting? Not the case here and they did good. It was everyone else's fault.

Very cool. Would be great to eventually see support for the file picker UI similar to Resilio or Working Copy so files can be saved directly into KeyBase's encrypted areas.
