I believe Windows 11 will be 64bit only, so I guess that means no more NTVDM and no more win16 support. In that case, there won't be any windows 3.1 16-bit code left over. On the other hand, win32 was designed to be mostly source-code-

Or, you know, it's absolutely ridiculous that they sell broken stuff and then want to charge you more for you to receive a working product that you paid for in the first place. Maybe they should try to engineer things so that they don&

That only works if your VPN uses one of the 2-3 standard protocols supported by iOS itself. If your VPN uses a different protocol, you must (with an entitlement) develop an app that gets to execute its code for every packet sent and receive

There is also the other thing with imessage scanning. It seems ripe for abuse, for example a husband forcing it on every family member including the spouse (and forcing a fake DOB). Using Apple devices used to be all about how they serve th

Streaming videos to a TV with airplay can and does happen without the app itself needing multicast/broadcast permissions, as long as you use the provided frameworks and APIs.

Seeing how "well" app review works, I would not be surprised if the "peon" sometimes clicks the wrong button while reviewing, bringing down a world of hurt on some innocent apple user, all triggered by the embedded snitc

I'll have to look into it. I was hoping to ride the official marvell kernel binaries because building from custom sources on armel would be a great inconvenience. Also not sure I'll be able to find 500kb to cut that the debian peo

The release notes say you can pin the debian10 kernel* and upgrade everything else. So my impression is 500kb of flash is the only blocker * and then you're on your own for security and compatibility issues

Fingers crossed a solution could be found during the lifetime of debian11. The entire distro is ready for armel, such a shame that 500kb of missing flash partition space holds it back :-/ I saw one of the bugreports had a message talki
