The placeholder app that comes with the stack is TodoMVC [1] and the one used to demonstrate git deploy setup after that is Telescope [2]. [1] https://github.com/addyosmani/todomvc [2] https://github.com/SachaG/Telescope

Great post, btw. Unfortunately, there is a problem with DO Amsterdam location. "The 512MB and 1GB sizes are currently not available in the Amsterdam region due to RIPE IPv4 restrictions and limited availability of IP space."

You can launch your sever and deploy your app for free. You can keep the server alive later if you need to. Prices start from $8/mo for 512 ram SSD server.

Godaddy is far from being simple to use. And cheap... no, especially when it comes to renewing. I would never go there again. I do recommend Badger.com - simple and honest. Also, a ton of other good services around. Just avoid Godaddy.

I always try to keep myself using less than 4 tabs in Chromium. Used to work with several browser windows, tens of tabs each, but found out that this is just noise, and is detrimental to productivity. Got the addon. Thanks and good luck!
