Yeah I tried to use the builtin sensor on my LG one but it turns out, there's no 'door open' sensor per se, only the 'locked successfully' signal. So I had to add an external Zigbee reed switch door sensor..

Yeah at this point I don't even bother, just heat up the phone with a hair dryer until it's hot to touch and then rip out the battery, never got one out in anything else but a horribly bent condition. Pro tip: discharge the device
