If your question is literally “you understand how it works?” the answer is yes, I do. If your question is more nuanced to mean “do you really really know how it works, meaning you could work on it tomorrow?” the answer is no, it is not my f

Well, I really hope you succeed on your experiments, but right now it seems to me that ML introduces an error factor we still cannot precisely account for. It looks like you are proposing some kind of mixed approach, not a simple “less data

It is not about big or small, I don’t think you understand how ML work. And by the way, tumors can be really small.

There is no unadulterated result, you are doing less sampling and relying on ML to fill the gaps. So you either have the ML reconstructed result or a subsampled MRI. Healthcare is an area where we need good and clean data as much as possibl

Can’t wait to do an MRI and hear the doc say “You’re all set, good to go!”, only to discover that I actually had a tumor but that really clever ML algorithm thought that it was noise and should’ve been smoothed out… I don’t want to be part

I find your two concepts of boredom incredibly different one from the other. When you have dopamine tablets as low hanging fruit you use them as much as you can so to keep your mind busy, in a simple society you don’t have those tablets all

I get what you say, and sure laws are different from country to country. Overall the reasons why you cannot drive bicycles on highways are many, but when you put them all together it mostly fall under one term: safety. What I wanted to say

Bicycles are much more unstable than motorcycles, it’s more difficult for bicycles to avoid objects in some situations since you cannot brake and accelerate in a small timeframe, they take more time to return to a high speed after you brake

I think it’s because 70km/h is not “close to the speed limit” and also because there are countless reasons why you cannot drive a bicycle or a horse carriage on a highway besides the speed you travel at.

There is one thing I will never understand, why do a lot of people talk about speed limits as the speed you need to be driving? It’s the maximum speed you can reach before being fined, it doesn’t mean “oh man I’m driving at 90km/h an

It’s just a matter of RTFM I guess, the a.add() method returns “a” so that you can chain methods on the same object without creating a new object on every method call. Else: a.add(1, ‘second’).add(1, ‘day’).subtract(2, ‘minute’) would creat

The name “mechanical turk” comes from a fake chess-playing machine that hid a person inside of it, whom actually operated said machine. So I think the name is quite appropriate for this service. Anyway, I don’t like that service either. ht
