- austenallred 11y agoI have a hunch it's not ready, though I have no evidence to support that
- pervycreeper 11y agoThat makes sense in view of their decision to bundle the Xbox controller instead.
- ngoel36 11y agoGood enough for Zuck to play! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10102175618819241&set=a.529237706231.2034669.4&type=1 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10102175618819241&se...
- Tepix 11y agoNotice how they hid the wire coming from the rift.
- austenallred 11y agoGood enough for Zuck to take a picture holding the controller

- mliker 11y agoPalmer said it'll be demoed at the E3 booths. Yeah, you're right they should have demoed it onstage.
- joshuak 11y agoYes. Also lackluster considering cooler possibilities like leap motion[1]. 1. https://www.leapmotion.com/product/vr https://www.leapmotion.com/product/vr
- robertfw 11y agoLeap Motion has been a pretty big let down, though I have not yet tried the latest tools they have released.
- leapmotion_alex 11y agoHope you'll give it a shot; Image Hands significantly reduces the kinds of jitters that can ruin a decent user experience. In case you haven't yet, be sure to calibrate and optimize your tracking: http://blog.leapmotion.com/troubleshooting-guide-vr-tracking/ http://blog.leapmotion.com/troubleshooting-guide-vr-tracking...
- melling 11y agoThe original Leap Motion doesn't really cut it. The company is moving on with a new technology called Dragonfly for VR: http://www.roadtovr.com/ces-2015-leap-motion-co-founders-talk-dragonfly-made-vr-motion-input-camera/ http://www.roadtovr.com/ces-2015-leap-motion-co-founders-tal...
- leapmotion_alex 11y agoDragonfly has some pretty significant hardware advantages for passthrough and FOV, but the biggest challenge is really at the software level, which is common to all our devices. (Full disclosure: lead writer at Leap)
- Rovanion 11y agoThe LEAP is a really inexact input device. Used it for a project this winter and the only reliable input we found was the position and rotation of the whole hand.
