I dunno, you think the Xeon Phi stuff is ever going to show up in consumer grade?
- corysama 11y agoThe development costs of the hardware used in today's supercomputing has been heavily subsidized by PC gamers for well over a decade. If PC gamers all switched to low-tech games for the next decade, the supercomputing industry would find that maintaining the momentum of their tech advances to be much more expensive than they are accustomed to.
