- saryant 12y agoWorking in Beijing.
- seanmcdirmid 12y agoBeijing China telecom, it doesn't get rejected, but doesn't seem to load on an iPad either. Maybe they are linking to google fonts or something.
- showerst 12y agoWe're not loading any google fonts but we've seen them block over our commenting system (livefyre) or our political content before. Interestingly it's usually not a domain-wide ban. If you'd be willing to help me diagnose it, I'd be grateful. tim.showers@foreignpolicy.com
- fspeech 12y agoI seem to remember from reading Harvard's study http://gking.harvard.edu/publications/how-censorship-china-allows-government-criticism-silences-collective-expression http://gking.harvard.edu/publications/how-censorship-china-a... that discussing the censoring could get you blocked, so maybe your last paragraph got the censors. Still it is curious they care so much about an English article if your site is otherwise allowed.
- showerst 12y agoTech director at FP here, is the whole site blocked or just that article? We occasionally have to play whack-a-mole with Chinese (and other nations') censors, so I'd love any info you could provide. tim.showers@foreignpolicy.com
- jcampbell1 12y agoI am pretty familiar with the GFW, and you are running HTTPS. The game of whack-a-mole you are playing is ip/domain/date. If you want to compare notes, send me an email.
