The easiest way to avoid making mistakes in an exit interview is not to participate in one. You're not obligated to do an exit interview, and nobody takes it personally if you don't.
- jackmaney 12y agoAgreed. You have absolutely nothing to gain by participating in an exit interview.
- joshschreuder 12y agoIt has the potential to benefit your friends still working at the company though, right? Especially if the same themes crop up in multiple exit interviews, hopefully someone in management can change the issues facing people leaving.
