- davidw 12y agoI bought that book and was kind of disappointed - the stories are pretty hit and miss. I did like that particular story though.
- DennisP 12y agoI felt the same way, but for me the story about the solar brick-making robots made the whole thing worthwhile.

- onion2k 12y agoWhat's the Eiffel Tower for? The Statue of Liberty? Nelson's Column? The St. Louis Gateway Arch? They're symbols. They bring people together around a common talking point, to recognise and remember who we are and what we can do together. If it really needs a purpose the Very Tall Tower could be an awesome base-jumping venue.
