I think people should really consider that there was nothing but the intent to assist in the Sony PR campaign in the first place. The US Government is a corporation first and foremost, both on paper, and in action. They want to see all of their subsidiaries do well. The way I see it, they're bending over backwards for the sake of profit and consumerism, as that boat is currently sinking.
