- eitally 12y agoNot just you. A combination of Microsoft doing cool things and other companies doing uncool things has been a terrific combination for improvements in [techie] public opinion.
- marincounty 12y agoThey are getting there. It's funny--for years I would cringe whenever anything associated with Microsoft popped up, now--I at least listen to what they have to say, sell, or better yet--share.

- digi_owl 12y agoActual competition brings out the best in them i guess.
- js-coder 12y agoWhat does Microsoft have to do with Bill Gates recommending books (which is really cool by the way)?
- jokoon 12y agocompared to apple, I would say yes. but it also has a lot to do with the new CEO offsetting strategy I think.
- velmu 12y agoGetting there! Cortana is a nice example how they can perform if there's no legacy. On the other hand some of the things they do are kind of fscked up. Branding Windows Phone apps Bing, not Bing, Bing. In addition Xbox Music on Windows Phone is terrible.
