The TÜV can do these EMV tests for you. But it's a standard in whole Europe. It's part of the CE marking. Not too easy to find literature on this in English. I

- bravo22 12y agoHaha. Those are EMC tests, not EMV. I've never heard anyone refer to it as EMV. Is this perhaps a German language thing? Does Electro Magnetic Compatibility translate to EMV in German?! EMV is Euro-Mastercard-Visa. :)
- philipmichael 12y agoHehe. Yeah. As said, it's a German thing. EMV stands for "elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit" which translates to EMC.
- bravo22 12y agoHaha. Gotcha! Learned something new. :) When you said "a German thing" earlier I thought you meant there is a specific standard for Germany called EMV. I was so confused.
