- seanmcdirmid 12y agoWell, Beijing isn't exactly a city with low pollution [1] :). I also live pretty far away from work (live on the east side, work on the west side). Thankfully, taxis are affordable, and there is also a subway if you want to brave it. I didn't own a car when I lived in Switzerland either: I walked or biked around my little town, it was awesome.
