NASA e-Book Features
- thetrueonion 12y agoOh my gosh, thanks for this! This is invaluable for an aspiring aero engineer. Can't wait to read about the aeroelastic wing project on my flight to japan. And the X-29. And the Oblique wing! I love the cheesy titles. This is unbelievable technical insight I've always wanted. Gosh, it's things like this that we need to fund NASA more for.
- sitkack 12y agoYou could ask the NSA for some money, their budget is larger.
- scrollaway 12y agoIn a slightly parallel universe, NASA is already sending colonies on a terraformed Venus due to typos on government cheques to the NSA.
- nether 12y agoYou're going to japan? Wow!
- thetrueonion 12y agoNot sure if sarcasm or not. But regardless, I hope to see one of the few remaining A6M Zeros in person while over there. Also, I'm flying over on a 787 Dreamliner. What a treat!

- mindcrime 12y ago> Also, I'm flying over on a 787 Dreamliner. What a treat! Sure, as long as you bring a fire-extinguisher with you! J/K'ing... have a fun trip to Japan. That's one of my top future destinations that I have't made it to yet. And getting to see that Zero up close and personal should be a real treat.
- WalterBright 12y agoYou can see a Zero in Paul Allen's collection in Everett when they have one of their many open houses.
- termain 12y agoHow far have you gotten in your aspirations?
- batbomb 12y agoNot sure if it's listed, but Far Travelers is really awesome http://history.nasa.gov/SP-480/contents.htm http://history.nasa.gov/SP-480/contents.htm
- peckrob 12y agoI highly recommend "Archaeology, Anthropology, and Interstellar Communication." I'm currently most of the way through this; it's dense, but very fascinating. http://www.nasa.gov/connect/ebooks/archaeology_anthropology_and_interstellar_communication.html http://www.nasa.gov/connect/ebooks/archaeology_anthropology_...
