"Dependency injection" is just a silly term for formal parameters. Wow, we can make a function more generic by minimizing the number of free variables! Who knew?
- seanmcdirmid 13y agoDependency injection is more like dynamic scoping, whereas most formal parameters are lexically scoped.
- davexunit 13y agoFair point, but that makes DI a really poor implementation of dynamic scoping.
