- seanmcdirmid 13y agoChina doesn't really have personal bankruptcy. Its pay at the door or die, and that includes various hongbaos needed for the doc to do a good job.
- hessenwolf 13y agoNot sure how it was defined. My brain recorded it as 'made fuck-poor'.
- pge 13y agoI believe (though I don't have a source handy) that the same is true in the US - medical expenses are the leading cause of personal bankruptcy.
