- scott_karana 13y agoOnly if you can anticipate that the value of the metal is still there in 100 years, or that the coins will be worth something as a collector's piece. - brc 13y agoThis is a time-honoured tradition. The dirt in england is awash with buried hoards, where people buried their currency and valuables to hide them from the government. The list is fascinating.
