- taspeotis 13y agoI was saddled with supporting IE8 for a while because our biggest customer (of one of our products) was using it. They made up ~4% of traffic before they finally moved to Win7+IE11. Money talks.
- ForHackernews 13y agoWindows XP only runs IE8.
- sfeng 13y agoand Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Opera.
- JohnTHaller 13y agoWindows Safari was dropped a while ago. Safari is Mac OS X only now.
- daigoba66 13y agoChrome is only supported for another year.
- vxNsr 13y agoXP support ends in April, with extended security support ending in 2015, but you already knew that.
- atesti 13y agoBut for how long? Google is a bit scary lately, with removing experimental region support because 2014 is the "make mobile fast" year. Also they killed Chrome Frame. I really wonder how long they will support XP. I don't think a company which wants to stick to XP is well served by migrating to Chrome! (edit: Not that sticking to XP would make sense anyway...)
- ocfx 13y agoThat's in 6 months when they need some PR again.
