- onion2k 13y agoThat's a bit like saying "You can throw a ball in the air and catch it again, so you must have an understanding of celestial mechanics, fluid dynamics and geometry." Using a database is working with set theory, but that's very, very different to understanding set theory.
- ry_donahue 13y agoA fair point. I guess just having studied discrete before touching TSQL I happen to see the symbols 1:1 with syntax and assume the same elsewhere.
