Personally I think civilizations tend to undergo a singularity or destroy themselves eventually and the exceptions to those two cases are rare enough that communication becomes exceptionally rare.
- alan_cx 13y agoThat is as depressing as it is plausible. Nice that its such a simple theory, but rings more true than any other.
- obblekk 13y agoBy singularity, you mean the creation of artificial intelligence? If so, then shouldn't we be encountering these AIs?
