Who is going to bother with a portscanner when there are plenty of targets on port 22. The targets on other ports are more likely to have been set to use keys, or at least have better passwords.
- marcosdumay 13y agoWhen you set the system to use keys, all those attempts at accessing just don't happen, and the log does not get polluted. Since the log pollution is the main complaint of people that change the port, I think you are wrong.
