The Rails 3/4 Way by Obie Fernandez was really helpful to me. It's more of a cookbook or reference guide that really deep dives into each aspect of Rails.
Definitely not a good choice for 1st Rails book though.
Another recommendation for it below from jherdman & jazearbrooks.
- hipsters_unite 13y agoThe Rails 3 Way was the book that cracked it for me. Hartl's tutorial is a great start, but Obie's was the book that actually hit the 'why' on the head.
