- jonny_eh 13y agoThat's awesome. In theory it should work anywhere where Google has elevation data available. She just made it to scratch her own itch, getting around SF.
- toomuchtodo 13y agoHow are you pulling the elevation data? I ask only so that I can go collect elevation data where it doesn't exist. EDIT: Disregard. Found the elevation data: http://blog.programmableweb.com/2010/03/25/google-launches-maps-elevation-data-api/ http://blog.programmableweb.com/2010/03/25/google-launches-m... http://googlegeodevelopers.blogspot.com/2010/03/aint-no-mountain-high-enough.html http://googlegeodevelopers.blogspot.com/2010/03/aint-no-moun...
- dotcoma 13y agoWhat did you mean? Didn't work for me. I need this to avoid hills when running in Barcelona :)
- fern 13y agoSame problem but in Brazil. Now this one is a great idea.
- seanmcdirmid 13y agoSeems to have problems in 3D Lausanne Switzerland.
- koenigdavidmj 13y agoYou know a place is hilly when its name is "3-D".
- jasonlingx 13y agoRunning hills are good for you! ;)
