Running Android apps on the Ubuntu Phone?

• zokier 14y ago
I'd imagine that running Android apps on (touch-screen) laptops running full Ubuntu would be higher on the list.

This makes sense for the ubuntu phone coming out.

Wouldn't that require a lot more than dalvik? I am thinking, at least, of the IPC and permissions system.

The IPC is OpenBinder, which has been out there a long time: http://www.angryredplanet.com/~hackbod/openbinder/docs/html/ http://www.angryredplanet.com/~hackbod/openbinder/docs/html/
