I would say my biggest competitor is Carbon Made, they charge $12/per month and also have a free plan which gives 5 projects and 35 images. Being new to the market, I thought it would be a good idea to offer a better looking product for a few bucks cheaper. An incentive for their customers to make the switch.

This is a great idea in my opinion. Every time someone posts a project here everyone says "CHARGE MORE!". I think I remember people telling some guy with a jQuery plugin for giving website walk throughs to charge like $20 a month or something. Your logic and pricing seems sound as long as its enough to sustain the company.
