In China now. Ping to github is 280ms. The cert I receive is valid. So either they stepped up the game or it isn't universal.

- seanmcdirmid 14y agoEven the Chinese gov does A/B testing.
- freewizard 14y agoIt's more likely capacity limit than A/B testing. Returning arbitrary response is consuming more resource compared to cutting off connection (sending TCP RST).
- guruz 14y agoIn a Hotel in Beijing. Ping around the same, Chrome does SSL and shows no error.
- olalonde 14y agoSame thing in Shenzhen (China Telecom). Everything seems to be normal.
