iPhone 5 from Verizon or AT&T will work with European and Australian GSM, but data will be 3G. LTE does not work in Europe. I am assuming Android phones with similar radios to the iPhone 5 will support the same networks abroad.
- TsiCClawOfLight 14y agothat's also because there is nearly no LTE coverage in Europe... besides, who needs that for daily use? 3G is just fine ;)
- justincormack 14y agoThere is some LTE but on odd frequencies. There is lots of hdspa+ or 3.5g though.
