This situation is why I don't use authenticator apps, or passkeys linked to a device. Single point of failure, and obviously with any of the big tech companies, zero recourse.
- snowwrestler 17d agoI think many services allow you to set up more than one passkey for this reason.
- croon 17d agoI have Ente Auth on my phone, desktop and laptop (on top of printed recovery keys for each service using the authenticator).
